In petrochemical industry, storage and transportation equipment has a very important strategic position, and the vertical storage tank, as a kind of storage and transportation equipment, has a wide applications range. Because petrochemical industry is related to the country’s energy security, so cleaning of vertical storage tank shell has been the concern of everyone, cleaning technology is also in constant development. The particularity of the petrochemical industry determines that no fire can be produced in cleaning process. Taking security, cleaning and energy saving into account, based on the technology of high pressure water jet, a piece of equipment could be used to cleaning vertical tank shell was designed.
