    Abstract:
    Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) method was used to simulate the multiphase flow field of high pressure waterjet.The dynamic characteristics of abrasive waterjet,such as the water and particle velocities for the flow downstream under steady state,turbulent,two-phase and three-phase flow conditions were studied.The jet-characteristics comparisons between high-pressure waterjet and abrasive waterjet were performed under submersion and non-submersion.The visualizing pictures and simulation results were analyzed and researched,and its numerical results show that abrasive waterjet under non-submersion is the major process for high pressure water cutting tools.

    A finite element model was built up based on the 3-D model of the large and high effective milling machine of CNC.The finite element analysis software-ANSYS was applied to the modal analysis of the machine tool.The preceding nine step natural vibration frequencies and its corresponding vibration modes were obtained.The deficiency of the machine tool was pointed out.Four different kinds of models were established towards the deficiency and their calculations were solved.A reasonable scheme was provided through the comparison.

    This article brings forward a hardware design method of reconfigurable CNC system based on ARM embedded microprocessor and field programmable gate array. And based on this method,we have developed a prototype of a low cost CNC system which takes full advantage of the high speed operation capability of ARM microprocessor and the high speed reconfiguration capability of FPGA. As a result,this prototype reduces the peripheral interface devices and cost greatly.

    The orifice area characteristics and the equivalent orifice area of three typical shape orifice valves are analyzed . And the phenomenon of shift of orifice location in hydraulic valve is presented and analyzed. The equivalent orifice areas calculated are compared with the results acquired by experiment and flow field simulation. This study has some value for the valve design with complicated orifices and valve noise study .
