Abstract:Based on the LabVIEW software development platform, the detection and control system for the giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) was designed in order to control the GMA used in the precision control of sliding bearings. The GMA was used to control sliding bearing base in this control system. The results show that by controlling the frequency and amplitude of the output voltage of the programmable power supply, the expansion of the GMA can be effectively controlled, and the position of the test base can be accurately controlled. The effectiveness of the GMA test system is proved. It provides reference for controlling the bearing clearance by using the GMA to suppress the rotor vibration.
