Abstract:Vehicle suspension is one of the most important parts of the whole vehicle system. Its main function is to transfer force and moment from ground to the body, and to reduce impact load from road excitation on the frame, thus restraining the irregular movement of the wheel. As the semiactive suspension of vehicles has a simple structure, no external energy input, and can achieve similar functions with the active suspension, it has broad prospects for development. Therefore, the research on semiactive suspension system of vehicles is growing day by day. One of the research focuses is the semiactive control method. The control methods for MR vehicle suspension were focused on, including the modern control methods and intelligent control methods. The research about the semiactive control of vehicle suspension from the research group was introduced. Relevant analysis and conclusions can provide some theoretical reference and guidance for further research of vehicle semiactive suspension.
