Abstract:The optimum oil film thickness for slipper is an important factor affecting the volumetric efficiency and life of the swashplate piston pump.In order to improve volumetric efficiency and service life of piston pump,an intensive study on the design method for the optimum oil film thickness for slipper was conducted.The theoretical formula of the optimum oil film thickness was gotten by derivation.Simulink simulation software was used to build a simulation model to obtain the optimum oil film thickness for slipper.On this basis,the factors affecting the value of the optimum oil film thickness were analyzed deeply.Furthermore,the result was applied to the realistic product for test assessment.The experimental results confirm the correctness of the theoretical result,indicating that an effective method was provided for the design of optimum oil film thickness for slipper.This method was applied to 6 types of product and the reasonable range of the optimum oil film thickness was summarized.It provides reference for the design of optimum oil film thickness for slipper.
