    Abstract:

    The differential cylinder hydraulic control system is proposed according to requirements for sail drive control. Cosimulation research for sail control system was carried out with advantages in integration of AMEsim and Simulink software design which established hydraulic system control simulation model. With use of Co-simulink, the advantages of differential cylinder control system of the sail were verified by comparison of conventional valve control asymmetrical cylinder and differential cylinder control system proposed. The step dynamic response under a certain constant force load and tracking angle curve under the condition of the actual force load of the sail were analyzed. The simulation shows that the control scheme of the sail drive control is effective and reliable, which can provide technical support for control of sail-assisted ships.
