Abstract:Due to the processing, installation and wear, clearance exists inevitably in the hinge of the electrohydraulic control mechanism of large scale wind turbine variant pitch control system. Oversize clearance would expand the overshoot and bring overmuch shock during selftuning, even cause resonance of the vane and the tower and result in wind turbine outage accidents ultimately. Formed mechanism of the clearance existed in the hinge of wind turbine variant pitch control mechanism was analyzed, a compensation method was proposed for clearance with using Fuzzy selftuning proportion integral differential (PID) control algorithm. According to impactvibration model of clearance to formulate fuzzy reasoning rule, the parameter selfadaptive adjustment of PID controller was implemented. When the clearance was 02, 04, 06 and 08 mm in part, the conventional PID controller and the fuzzy selftuning PID control performance were studied and compared. The result is that as compared to the conventional PID controller, the fuzzy selftuning PID controller can reduce overshoot and shock time of the large scale wind turbine variant pitch control system obviously and avoid the impact of wind turbine variable pitch effectively.
