Abstract:After introducing the mechanical structure and working principle of electric power steering (EPS), the EPS dynamic model and the state space equation are established. Based on this model, a PID genetic algorithm control strategy for EPS is put forward, i.e., use the powerful search ability of genetic algorithm to optimize the parameters of the PID controller, the PID controller can achieve a better control effect. By using Matlab/Simulink simulation and analysis, the simulation results show that the control strategy makes EPS fast response and stable output, the performance has been effectively improved. Therefore, it has laid the theoretical foundation to develop the products.
