Abstract:A purely mechanical hydraulic interception system cannot quickly and effectively intercept aircraft with different mass and landing speeds. In response to the problem, the original system was improved by replacing the original cam valve and needle valve with an electro-hydraulic servo valve, and replacing the original brake disc transmission ratio controlled hydraulic pump with a servo motor controlled hydraulic pump.A mathematical model of the improved aircraft interception system was established, and a simulation model was established using the MATLAB/Simulink,the simulation analysis was conducted on the variation patterns of controlled parameters such as aircraft speed, aircraft stopping distance, and aircraft overload. The working process of the aircraft arresting system was simulated, and the performance of the arresting system was verified through simulation. The results show that the improved arresting system meets the preset arresting indicators for various types of aircraft in terms of arresting distance, aircraft acceleration, aircraft speed, arresting resistance and braking pressure, and the curves are stable without significant abrupt changes.
