Abstract:The difference between proportional valves and solenoid valves is that proportional valves can achieve continuous flow regulation,so their design methods are also different. The structure of the self-developed pneumatic proportional valve was introduced, its working principle was summarized,a detailed introduction to the structural dimensions of the dynamic valve core and the design method of the coil components was provided. The valve core was balanced by adding a sealing diaphragm,so that the valve core was only subjected to electromagnetic and spring forces during movement, making it easier to achieve dynamic balance and reduce the power consumption of the electromagnet. In order to improve the horizontal characteristics of the output electromagnetic force, parameterized simulation research was conducted on the magnetic isolation ring, and the optimal parameters of the magnetic isolation ring were ultimately determined θ2=60°,Δh=0.2 mm,θ1=90°,h=1 mm.The spring force range was determined based on dynamic balance, and the reset spring parameters were determined using Inventor software. Finally, the flow characteristics of the pneumatic proportional valve were tested. The test results show that the output flow of the pneumatic valve can continuously change with the control voltage, meeting the basic performance of the proportional valve.
