Abstract:At present, the friction-reduction and wear reduction properties of textures in the case of surface-surface low pair contact have been widely studied. However, the effect of textures in the case of point-surface high pair contact on surface tribological properties is still less studied.Finite element simulation technology was mainly used to establish the simulation model of hydrodynamic lubrication on the surface of biomimetic groove texture under point-surface contact. The simulation model was solved by the Fluent module of ANSYS,and the relationship between the bearing capacity of the lubricant film on the surface of the sample and the geometric parameters of the texture was obtained. The biomimetic groove-shaped texture was fabricated by laser on 40Cr specimen, and the friction reduction performance of the texture under the contact of point-surface and high-pair was studied by pin-on-disc test. The influence of texture geometric parameters on the friction performance of the surface was comprehensively analyzed. The results show that the experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results;with the increase of groove texture width W and texture depth H ,the friction coefficient decreases first and then increases;groove texture plays an important role in improving the friction properties of the workpiece surface;the existence of micro-texture can help achieve hydrodynamic lubrication, improve the surface bearing capacity, reduce the friction coefficient, and thus improve the friction properties of the workpiece.
