Abstract:Rolling bearing is one of the most widely used parts in machines. It relies on rolling contact between rolling elements and raceways to support rotating parts. The service life of bearings is an important indicator of bearing quality. As the failure form of rolling bearings is mainly fatigue pitting, contact fatigue life is often used to reflect bearing life. For its calculation, bearing material, contact characteristics and other factors are comprehensively considered, which is more in line with actual working condition. The MATLAB GUI software platform was used to complete the design of the contact fatigue life calculation system for angular contact ball bearings. The system was easy to use. By entering relevant parameters, the parameters such as contact fatigue life, maximum contact load and maximum contact stress could be calculated. Txt files and excel forms could be displayed on the system interface. Using this system, the calculation period of bearing life is greatly shortened, the efficiency and accuracy of bearing design are improved. After many engineering design verifications, the system is efficient and reliable, and has reference significance for the development of other complex computing systems in engineering design.
