Abstract:In GB/T 12642—2013 Industrial Robots-Performance Criteria and Related Test Methods, the environmental conditions for performance testare stipulated, including temperature, relative humidity, electromagnetic and electrostatic fields, radio frequency interference, air pollution and altitude limit, the impact of ambient vibration on the performance of industrial robots is ignored, especially the impact on position repeatability. The position repeatability of the same robot was tested in different vibration environments. It is found that the position repeatability of the same robot is 0.009 mm in the anti vibration condition and 0.015 mm in the non anti vibration condition. The difference between them is huge. Therefore, in the national standard, the environmental conditions of performance test should reregulated, the impact of ambient vibration on the performance of industrial robots should be considered.
