Abstract:In order to improve the response speed and stability of the height adjustment system of shearer drum,the composition and principle of the automatic height adjustment system of shearer were analyzed,and the functional relationship between the height adjustment cylinder elongation and the drum height was deduced,then AMESim software was used to establish the system simulation model.The simulation results show that compared with the ordinary electromagnetic reversing valve,the electro-hydraulic proportional valve is beneficial to adjust the drum height stably and fast.In addition,the influence of external load on the starting time of the electro-hydraulic proportional valve should be considered in the design of height regulating system.
