Abstract:In the design of a radial piston pump,the slipper is a key component that connects the mover and the stator.The slipper affects both the mechanical efficiency and the volumetric efficiency of the piston pump,which is the top priority in the design.Therefore,the design of the slipper requires both good wear resistance and the sealing performance of the mating surface.The redundant pressing force design method was used to carry out structural design of the slipper of the 45 MPa radial piston pump.Based on Fluent analysis method,its sealing performance and oil film characteristics were analyzed.A design solution with good abrasion resistance and sealing performance is obtained.
