Abstract:Using S7-1200 Programmable Logical Controller(PLC) of Siemens as the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) motion controller, magnetic navigation sensor to trace the magnetic stripe laying on the ground, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to read the site location label, and with a touchscreen as Man-Machine Interface (MMI), the AGV control system is set up. Thus some basic movement function of AGV like moving straight, steering, run automatically, speed control, site parking was realized. Through experiments show that the AGV with this control system is stable and reliable, easy to operate in the moving and it is very good to achieve functional requirements.
