Abstract:Due to the surface roughness has a significant impact on the use of performance parts, such as the stability of the cooperating parts, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and service life and so on, so it is a very important criterion for the quality of surface finish. The formation mechanism of surface roughness could be attributed to the structure and shape of the tool variable parameters, cutting parameters variable, specificity and shape of machined parts or cutting process required variable inertia factor, however, these factors alone were not the role of the surface, there was a certain degree of roughness on the interaction with each other. Therefore, this study is on effect of the geometry parameters and cutting tool parameters on surface roughness in the aluminum alloy in the process, which provides a theoretical reference for the milling of aluminum alloy.
