A kind of control system was presented,taking Visual C++ as development platform and PC as its core,to achieve precise positioning control of the pneumatic cylinder.Parameter selftuning FuzzyPID control algorithm was chosen,the experimental platform of pneumatic cylinder position control system was composed of proportional directional control valve,standard cylinder, displacement sensor, data acquisition card and other components. FuzzyPID control algorithm was implemented using the powerful data processing ability of PC,and the rich external interfaces of PC were used to realize the connection of the input and the output module,so the cost of the system development was saved effectively.
