Based on the idea of “FMS-like” deposition manufacturing, the theory of flexible manufacturing was applied on FMS like shape deposition manufacturing system, the general layout style of deposition station for FMS-like shape deposition manufacturing system was proposed, the general structure of managing of deposition station and fixed platform, the installment of the deposition equipment, the structural facility of the managing of deposition station, the fixed platform and other assistance facility etc were discussed. The operation process of the deposition station with this structure style was described detailed. The designed deposition station is the most important part of FMS-like shape deposition manufacturing system, the deposition equipments are flexible added or deleted through it, and a FMS-like shape deposition manufacturing system can be composed with other operation facilities.
